Can you pair an already existing jbl sub with this? I purchased a sub and soundbar together and the soundbar just stopped working and jbl doesn’t want to do anything about it. So now I have this amazing sub collecting dust.
Unfortunately the JBL Bar Studio can't be paired with another subwoofer since it's a stand alone soundbar with a Bass volume control.

Can you pair this soundbar with an older model JBL subwoofer (SB300)? My exisiting soundbar that came with the SB300 died and cannot find the exact replacement.
The JBL Bar studio is a stand alone Soundbar and cannot pair to a subwoofer.

How do i have the Bar Studio show volume numbers on my tv? Im not using my tv’s speakers but i want to see volume numbers, not just guess what volume level i like. Please tell me there’s more than just the 5 or 6 led lights on the soundbar to show volume.

Hi, I plugged it in for the first time today using AUX cable as that is the only option my TV supports. The sound bar started working straight away but all of a sudden went silent and is not recognizing any input. I can see on/off light etc. Please help

Hi i just purchased this item. How can i get the remote from my tv to work with it. I own a 6 series tcl and i am having issues trying to get this working. Thank you
To program the soundbar to respond to your TV remote control, follow these steps.
1 - Press and hold VOLUME+ and SOURCE button to enter learning mode for >5 seconds.
2 - Then, press POWER button on the soundbar and press POWER button on the TV remote control.
3 - Follow the same procedure for VOLUME - and VOLUME +.
4 - For mute, press both VOLUME + and VOLUME - button on soundbar and press MUTE button on TV remote control.
5 - Press and hold VOLUME+ and SOURCE button on soundbar again for 5 seconds and now your soundbar responds to your TV remote control*.

I am considering this product to attach to my iMac which has USB, 3.5" jack and Thunderbolt 3 output ports. Will this product support an iMac connection of these types?
Hi! With those available connections, you may use the 3.5mm jack to your iMac and soundbar. This is the only jack that the soundbar is compatible with since it does not have a lightning port.

Can I pair a JBL charge 3 with a JBL Bar Studio?
Unfortunately, the JBL Bar studio does not have the connect feature as the JBL Charge 3 so you won't be able to pair them together.

Pleased with the soundbar, except for one thing - when there is very little background noise in the film we're watching, the bar falls completely silent. And kicks back in when the program noise increases, albeit with a tiny delay. Any ideas? Thanks.

The JBL Bar Studio is designed to be a standalone product. It has no provision for any other speaker to be connected to it as an additional channel.

I'm having difficulty with the connection to my TV, Sony Bravia. Using an HDMI cable, it connect, but takes time, esp when switching from streaming from phone to tv. Set up is straight forward, any reason why this is happens

Does this sound bar have anything to enhance voices while minimizing, or at least leveling background music, sound effects etc?
The Bar studio has an button called "sound mode" on the remote which are set equalizers for switching between standard/ movie/ music/ voice/ sports sound mode.

The Bar Studio is a stand alone soundbar and does not come with the subwoofer but has a dual bassport unlike the other bar series that have a Subwoofer.

The JBL BAR Studio can work with most MP3 Players. Below are more information about the USB port:
Compatible USB devices
• MP3 Player : Flash type MP3 player.
• USB Flash Drive : Devices that support USB 2.0.
• Some USB devices may not be supported.
USB device requirement
• Devices which require additional program installation connected to a computer, are not supported.
• Do not extract the USB device while in operation.
• For a large capacity USB, it may take longer than a few minutes to be searched. The soundbar does not support USB devices with 2000 files or more on it.
• The soundbar USB port cannot be connected to PC. Your soundbar can not be used as storage device.
• The exFAT and NTFS file system is not supported on this unit. (FAT16/FAT32 systems are available.)
• Depending on some devices, it may not available to recognize the followings on this unit.
